3.4.15 Slack Share Settings (Tests & Execution Flows)

QG - Quality Gates

EF - Execution Flow

quilliup Users have the option to customize Slack settings for both EFs and Tests according to their needs. The settings interface is the same for both.

Several Slack Groups with different settings can be assigned to the same Test/EF.

Example for Tests:

In QG module, in the left side menu go to My Projects -> Specific Project -> Tests -> Specific Test.

Click Share Options -> Slack Settings:

Group Name - choose a name for the Slack group.

Use Webhooks - by default is off. If on => the searching option changes to "Search Webhooks":

Enter the required value into the "Search Webhooks" field and click the "Search" button. quilliup will search through the previously created available Webhooks (refer to the detailed manual: Slack Webhooks). A list of available values for selection will be displayed in the "Select Webhooks" field.

If "Use Webhooks" is off => the "Search Channels" field will become available:

Enter the required value into the "Search Channels" field and click the "Search" button. A list of available values for selection will be displayed in the "Select Channels" field.

Slack Template - value can be selected from a list of predefined templates. Refer to the detailed manual: Slack Templates

Impact - optional field. Fill in the impact value if needed. 

Action - optional field. Fill in the action value if needed.

button - allows to add additional Slack Group(s) to the same Test.
