3.4.16 Test, Splunk Settings

To enable quilliup to send a Test event to Splunk, in a specific Test make sure that in "Share Options" is set on "Splunk Enabled":

To configure Splunk details from scratch, in the Test canvas, click "Share Options" -> "Splunk Settings" -> "Add Group":

The following form/window will open:

Name - a name for the Splunk group.

Add Additional Parameters - define additional parameters by inserting Name and Value, for example:

For Additional Parameter(s) in the field "Value" can be used variable.

Send on Status - decide when the alert will be sent from quilliup to Splunk. 

Click "Save".

• If there are any additional parameters defined in quilliup "Administration -> System Settings -> General Settings -> Splunk Settings" => by default those parameters will be shown in Splunk Group but they can be removed or replaced.

• quilliup sends events to Splunk with relevant information for any Test type. For example:    

  For Data Validation Test any Rule will be sent in the following format: 

  Rule_1_Name: Rule name

  Rule_1_Failures: X

  Rule_2_Name: Rule name

  Rule_2_Failures: Y    

  ….
