EF - Execution Flow
Bulk operations allow users to perform actions such as Copy, Update, Schedule, and Delete on multiple Execution Flows (EFs) simultaneously, instead of handling them individually. For instance, if you need to delete 4 EFs, you can select them all and use the Bulk operation to delete them at once.
How to Use Bulk Operations
- Navigate to the EFs grid.
- Mark all the required EFs.
- Click the "Bulk Operations" button.
- Choose the desired action from the list of options:
- Copy
- Update
- Schedule
- Delete
- Update Email Settings
- Update Slack Settings
Detailed Bulk Operation Actions
1. Bulk Copy
This option allows you to duplicate the selected EFs.
- A suffix of your choice will be appended to the name of each copied EF:
- Example: If the original EF name is
max_agg, and the suffix isCopy, the copied EF will be namedmax_agg_Copy:
2. Bulk Update
Use this option to apply updates to multiple EFs simultaneously. The following updates can be applied:
- Severity: Choose a severity level to associate with the selected Execution Flows (EFs), such as Low, Medium, or High.
- Tags: Add or modify tags to help categorize or search for the selected EFs.
- Execution Flow Timeout: Set a maximum time limit (in seconds or minutes) for executing tests on the selected EFs.
- Disable Email Settings: Enable or disable email notifications for the selected EFs, or leave unchanged.
- Disable Slack Settings: Enable or disable Slack notifications for the selected EFs, or leave unchanged.
3. Bulk Schedule
Apply the same scheduler settings to multiple EFs at once.
- Example: Set all selected EFs to run daily at 9:00 AM.
The same scheduler values can be applied to multiple EFs at once.
4. Bulk Delete
Quickly delete multiple EFs in one action.
- Warning: This action is irreversible, so double-check the selected EFs before proceeding.
5. Bulk Update Email Settings
Modify email notification settings for multiple EFs at once, Add or update the recipient email addresses for alerts.
6. Bulk Update Slack Settings
Update Slack notification configurations for multiple EFs.
