QG - Quality Gates
In order to add a new Amazon S3 Data Source, in QG module, in the left side menu, go to Settings -> Data Sources -> AmazonS3:
A list of all existing Data Sources will be displayed on the main screen, you can edit an existing Data Source(s) or click "Add Data Source" button to create a new Data Source:
Name - Data Source name.
AWS Key ID - a unique identifier for your AWS access key, used to authenticate and authorize access to the Amazon S3 database.
AWS Secret Key - a corresponding secret component of your AWS access credentials, ensuring secure access to your S3 database.
After filling in these two fields, more fields appear:
Bucket - a public cloud storage resource available in AWS which is similar to file folders. You can choose the bucket name from the "Bucket List", or manually enter the bucket name if using the "Free Value" option.
Region - input your physical location as the AWS region for the bucket you chose.
Path - used for grouping related users and groups in a unique namespace. If you are using the IAM API or AWS Command Line Interface (AWS CLI) to create IAM entities, you can also give the entity an optional path.
Delimiter - helps to organize and then browse your keys hierarchically. Contains value "/" as default, it can be changed.
File Type - choose from the list:
Search in GZIP - check the box to enable search within compressed folders.
Meta Days Old - choose for how many days content stays in the cache.
Test Connection button - validates that the connection works properly and returns the correct number of files.
Assigned Projects - the Data Source must be assigned to the relevant Project(s). When assigned, a Data Source will appear in the Data Sources list in the Project's Data Set(s). A Data Source can be assigned or removed from a Project also on Project's definition level. Administrators can also restrict specific roles from accessing a Data Source(s) at the Project Role Permissions level.
