1.3.1 Network Locations

Go to "System Admin -> System Settings -> General Settings -> Network Locations":

• Network Location settings define the network path mapping required for accessing Files Data Sources.

• When accessing a location, the application searches under the defined root, including subfolders (if configured at the File's Data Source level).

• The path can point to:

  • A Network Location on a remote server (e.g., \\REMOTE_SERVER\...)

  • A location on the application server (e.g., D:\Files\...)

• To add a new Network Location:

  1. Click the Add New Location button.

  2. Provide a name and the root search path.

• The Test Connection button allows you to verify whether the path is valid and displays the number of files included.

Deploy & Deploy All - allows to do deploy all the chosen / all the existing Network Locations.
