"System Admin -> System Settings -> Quality Gates Settings -> Project Permissions":
Project Permissions settings are the default state for each new Project and Role relations that are created in QG module. Modifying the default Project Permissions will apply to Project-Role relations that will be created at the module level (i.e. Role permissions under each Role at the Project level).
Data Sources section:
Enable the user to have permissions to assign new Data Source(s):
Tests section:
The User can:
Define Test’s permissions – Create/Edit/Delete Test(s), Run Test(s).
Assign variables values- for view only permissions - Variables are created at the Project library.
The user can be allowed to edit thresholds/ create new Data Sets/ Log results/ add Validation rules to the library.
Note: disabling all the sub permissions (Create a new test, Edit existing test definition, ...) will provide view-only permission! For example:
Execution Flows And Scheduling section:
The User can define EFs permissions – Create/ Edit / Delete EF(s), run EF(s), Schedule EF(s).
Assign variables values- for view only permissions - Variables are created at the Project library.
