FW - Form Wizard
DD - Drop Down
Only filtered data will be displayed in Step 4/RDA Editor when filtering a FW by DD(s).
How to define Filter Form by Dropdown in the FW, Step 3:
- In a specific FW the RDA Designer module access Step 3, click “Edit Settings” button and scroll down to the “Filter form by DropDown” section. Click “Add Filter” button:
"Enable Filter" switcher should be on. Define the following fields:
- Column - select the column name from the list of FW's columns, that will be used for filtering. For example: CAR_MAKE.
- List - choose a DD from list. Only DDs of type Default, Searchable or Multi select can be chosen (Dynamic DDs can't be chosen).
- Default value - chosen value from the column that will be used for default filtering. Not required.
- Header - it’s possible to add a header to the filter. Not required. When set, the header appears in Step 4 as shown in the image below, in our case we defined Header as 'Car Make':
Step 4 - preview Screen. By filtering with value, matching results in table. User will be able to filter the FW by the chosen DD(s) value(s);
