4.1.2 RDA, Menu Items (Side Bars)

Abbreviations, used in manual:

FW - Form Wizard

RDA - Reference Data Admin

RDAD - RDA Designer

RDAE - RDA Editor

Menu Items/ Side Bars allow to categorize FWs by different names/sections.

In order to create a new Menu Item parent you can use one of the following available options:

1. In the RDAD module, under specific Project choose Menu Items section in the left side menu:

Click "Add Menu Item" button:

Assign a name:

2. In RDAD module, in a specific FW, in Step 1, can be created a new Menu Item by clicking the plus (+) button and inserting a  new name:

In RDAE module:

After adding menu items and linking them to FWs in RDAD, the various FWs are displayed in RDAE, categorized based on their respective menu items.

For example: in RDAD, under specific Project, were created 3 Menu Items: "Michal", "DEV" and "BI":

The FW's in RDAE main screen will be categorized according to their Menu Items:
