Abbreviations, used in manual:
FW - Form Wizard
RDA - Reference Data Admin
RDAE - Reference Data Admin Editor
Step 2 in a FW is mainly in charge of editing UI elements, namely, you will be able to control the values that should be added or edited to the columns in step 4/RDAE, from the table defined in Step 1.
Please see multiple available options:
1. Table Columns area (1) - all the columns of the table, chosen in Step 1, are presented here:
Refresh button in the upper right corner - refreshes the list of table columns, should be used if, for example, DB table has new columns.
Visible - when a column is set to invisible (by clicking the "v" icon), it will not appear during certain operations such as adding, editing, or copying a row in Step 4/ RDAE. Additionally, if a file is uploaded, any data in an invisible column will not be included in the form. For example: the "created_by_user" column, as shown in the previous screenshot, will remain hidden in these scenarios.
Key - column(s) chosen in Step 1 as key, are marked with a key sign.
Name - column name as it appears in the chosen DB table.
Type - column type in the chosen DB table.
UI Element Category - allows selecting the type of the column that will be used in the FW by clicking the arrow sign from the right, for example:
Arrows - the columns ca be reordered by clicking small up/down arrows from the right or by using the drag and drop option. New columns order will be applied to Step 4/RDAE when adding or editing rows.
2. Advanced Form Settings:
When clicking "Advanced Form Settings", a small window opens:
Text Align: Right To Left - turn on for changing text aligning from Left-To-Right to Right-To-Left. When adding a new row, editing an existing row, or copying a row, text alignment is set from right to left. However, the grid layout remains consistent from left to right.
Change Server Timezone - should be used if the server (where quilliup is installed) Time Zone differs from User's Time Zone but User needs to see the same Datetime values as he inserts in DB. When this switcher is on - a list of Time Zones will be shown. You should choose the same Time Zone as in the quilliup server.
Only columns with the time format dd/MM/yyyy HH:mm:ss will be affected.
Column Tabs - allows creating Tabs to organize Adding or Editing rows in FW.
In order to create Tab(s), type the name in the "Tab Groups" field and click Enter. You can choose the "Tabs Position" to be from the left or on top:
After creating Tab(s), when you choosing on a column (1), you will have the option to choose a Tab Group for it (2):
Choose in which Tab Group you want to locate the column:
When chosen => in the FW (Step 4/ RDA Editor) when Editing/Adding row, the column will be shown in the chosen tab:
Note: options 3-6 from the first attached print screen (Display Settings, Preview field, Advanced Settings & Advanced Column Settings) will be available only when you choose a column from the grid in option 1 in the "Table Columns area".
